Why I’m Richer provides personal‑finance tracking, planning tools, and an AI assistant (“Atlas”). The Service, including all content and Atlas’s output, is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and we are not a bank, broker‑dealer, or registered investment adviser. Projections and figures are estimates, not guarantees. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions, and you should consult a licensed professional before acting.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
The Service connects to third parties such as Plaid (account connectivity), your financial institutions, and Stripe (payments). Your use of those services is also governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third‑party services or the accuracy of data they provide.
Investing and financial decisions carry risk, including the possible loss of principal. Any strategies, allocations, returns, or timelines discussed in the Service or by Atlas are illustrations based on assumptions and are not promises of results. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You assume full responsibility for decisions you make using the Service.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to breach security, access other users’ data, reverse‑engineer the Service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use it for your personal use. Your own data remains yours.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error‑free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or financial losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. You agree to first try to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us.
